Patient FAQ

Clear answers regarding our clinical approach, treatment timelines, and billing practices. We believe in complete transparency.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being assessed. Shorts and a t-shirt work well for most appointments. We have changing facilities available at the clinic.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your condition and goals. Many people see meaningful improvement within 4 to 6 sessions. We will give you an honest estimate after your initial assessment, and we discharge you as soon as you can manage independently.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. You can book directly without a GP or orthopaedic referral. If we believe your condition needs further medical investigation, we will recommend you see your doctor or refer you to a specialist.

What happens during the first appointment?

Your first appointment lasts approximately 45 minutes. We will take a detailed history, perform a physical assessment, explain our findings, and begin treatment if appropriate. You will leave with a clear understanding of your condition and a plan for recovery.

Do you work with health insurance providers?

We are registered with most major health insurance providers and TPA networks. Please contact us with your policy details and we can confirm coverage before your appointment.

Is physiotherapy painful?

Treatment should not be unnecessarily painful. Some techniques may cause brief discomfort, particularly with acute injuries, but we will always explain what to expect and work within your comfort level. Post-treatment soreness is normal and usually settles within 24 hours.

Can I exercise while receiving treatment?

In most cases, staying active is an important part of recovery. We will advise you on which activities are safe and which to modify or avoid temporarily. You will receive a specific home exercise programme tailored to your condition.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book by phone, WhatsApp, email, or through the contact form on this website. We typically offer appointments within 48 hours of enquiry. Evening slots are available by prior arrangement.
